wish me luck, lpg setup on the end of a 3.5 fuel injection plenum chamber and intake manifold with the injectors blanked off...should be a lot more flowy that the 4cyl throttle body setup with ****ty lpg feed that is on the engine right now!

I will have to tap a hole just after the throttle body for vacuum feed to lpg mixer and regulator, to get max vacuum out of it.....oh and the plenum chamber is switched around so that I can run air intske straight to an airbox with a panel filter then into a snorkel up the right hand side of the vehicle....

Still lots more odd parts to get to complete it but you get the idea....
Hoping to start fitting it this weekend if the snow doesn't arrive!!

Feel free to throw in ideas/rubbish the idea if you wish...:D

Looks alright,

Will she be a sole LPG vehicle?>

Yep originally wanted to go back to petrol or dual fuel, as it was on purely lpg when i got it, but it's cheap and I can put my foot down without worrying about stupid high petrol costs in nz!

And it's easier to tune for one or the other....lpg hasnt caused me any probs so far and has been an interesting learning curve too...

Better for the engine too ;)

I know....and the environment...:cool::rolleyes::D

As we speak I have a mate putting together another 3.5 v8 with the following in no particular order:
New pistons and rings
Balanced crank
Custom lpg camshaft
Duplex timing chain setup
Johnson lifters
Mallory pushrods
Higher pressure valve springs
Yella terra roller rockers
Arp stud kit
4.6 heads, been fully reconditioned not long ago
And a bunch of new ignition stuff which I'm still learning about!

And this engine will hopefully go under this lpg setup in a month or two...:D

Interesting idea - our FLT is pure LPG - and occasionally struggles for a few seconds when it is REALLY cold - a kettle of water over the evaporator sorts it :)

What are you doing for pre-heat .... if anything ?

Given I want a proper engine again at some in the none too distant ..... I'm watching with interest ....:)

I read this and thought - "Ah! another fool living high in the Pennines" :D - but then I remembered you're not really anywhere near me - in fact ... you're about as far away from me as it is possible to be = wise man :D:D:D ;)

Ok I have just started it and it cranked over in about 5 seconds! Which I'm pretty pleased about, I just haven't run it for long because its 930pm at night and the neighbours might get mad!

And nup, no preheat...

I'll keep you updated and PM me if you want any more detailed pics or explanations, happy to help out!

Will be doing a test drive tomorrow...
