If you feel around the area where it came from you should find a stray connector somewhere...

Looks right Ant. Plug it back in once you have cleaned up the connector and see how far the wire stretches.I wonder if it is from the auxillary coolant pump - this sits under the ABS ECU and valve block.

That cover is supposed to be firmly attached to the back of the pump motor.....
You can clean it up as much as you like, it's still fecked.[/QUOE]
Agreed, I posted reconnecting it to ascertain what it was part of.

And something else your all missing, Katie you've got big hands, take note @DopeyYh you still need a plug to connect to the new motor..
So as i said the connector needs to be cleaned.
