He's very interesting regarding RR's!
Yes i saw that D4, 'twas interesting!

Indeed, like his unbiased reviews and does some great trips

I drove a classic many moons ago, gearbox made a noise and felt sea sick round corners , lol

Do like RR though , maybe one day , L322 ;)

By the way this reminds me , 13th Feb , weds night on Dave @8pm program called Lazy boy garage , they buy and sell cars , ref first is Range Rover , alas doesn’t say which model

Is the first series so don’t know how good it will be

Lol, would be interesting to see how a D3 and L322 compare, as in working on them etc

Must admit did look at a L322 before the D3 and interior was outstanding in quality , ins was silly money otherwise I would have had an L322

My D3 is an ins group 33 , just looking to see what the L322 is

Found it, was the V8 auto biography group 48, standard group 38

Think the RR classic is group 33

Freelander was group 21

Definitely mental illness :D

This is when age and location come in to play. I pay less for insurance than a lot of the quotes, I recently had ,wanted for compulsory excess

Well the first Range rovers kept me busy at work doing warranty claims that's for sure. Nightmare to drive at any appreciable speed on twisty roads. They were not made by Land rover but BL Rover group.

Strangely, one of the plastic mouldings on my P38 has the name "Austin-Rover" moulded into it:eek:

Quite possible all sorts of stuff was used out of the stores. I believe the smaller aircon condensers fitted to later P38s came from discontinued Rover cars. Usual Land rover pricing policy was used, three quarters the size and three times the price. :D
