i seem to remember the bellhousing and engine mounts are the same. you might need to knock a stud out of the block though
nice one yella all good stuff to know. is it a threaded stud or more like a locating lug?

On that lr4x4 site there seems to be lots of bitty info bout puttin a td in a series, don't think there's a complete talk thorugh though - if you do a search you should find bits like this:

yup, its a good easy conversion really cos yer dunt need ter **** about wi intercoolers and special exhausts

What about the connection to the gearbox - td's are built for lt77's + 230's, permanent 4x4 - does it have the same cowling connection???

same as the tdi. you have to remove one of the studs or dowels
Hi i want to convert my 2.5d n/a 90 to a 200tdi if anyones got one for sale?
also what other parts and modifications do i need to do this convertion
I have one .... engine and box complete and can be driven .... starts and runs beautifully.
Scotland ..... so you would need export licence.
