New member first landrover first problem :(

Hi all I’m dave from midlands. Recently got my hands on a freelander sport td4 auto 2004 drives beautiful but... it will not reverse it engages reves hold for a second then it feels like it’s in natural. There’s no fault codes except p0500 in pending that’s now been cleared. Iv tested solenoids with multimeter from the block connection every one is on point except 2-4 brake duty solenoid was at 3.6ohms I believe the limit is 2.6-3.2ohms. My question is would that stop reverse from working thank you for any help in advance
