Need buy tips for 90

I'm new here so please be gentle!
Hope its the right place to ask questions!!
I am thinking about buying a 1991 90 Defender as a workhorse in construction as i hear they are capable towing veheciles and also the odd foray into Morocco...i live in Spain by the way so its not that far to go...
This 90 has 12000 kms on the clock,which is less than 70k mls.It is being used by a luxury second hand car dealership here in Spain as the "mechanic's van" but who are selling.Fitted with Recaro seats,roll bar.removable top with canvas,tow bar,double suspension prepared for the Defenders cup(Thats my translation from the ad)2 intercoolers(what are they?)and 3..yes 3 sets of tyres.I have not gone to see it yet but if i did what should i be looking for in the way of major faults?

Hi nice vehicle I would check the chassis and anything underneath, for damage caused by offroading. also all the usual things you'd check when buying any vehicles.

Intercoolers are what cools the air before it reaches the turbo the cooler the air the more dense it is and the better the engine will run more power better fuel burning etc.

how's the fettle Red. Haven't used the stuff meself, infact tis the furst time ah've heard of it. Ah tend tae stick with Sealand just now, had the same jacket and trousers for about 2/3 years and they're still goin' strong even after sum abuse ah've given them
