Just wanted to ask you guys what is a good reputable Indy in the East London area for servicing? Any advice would be much appreciated.

I was born in the East End. I went back a while ago to look at where I used to live, it was like a foreign country. I don't know what Woolwich is like now, I used to enjoy the ferry and the tunnel, but Wanstead, Manor Park, East Ham, Leytonstone, Mile End etc seem to have few indigenous English left. certainly I felt out of place.Says the bloke who has lived in his French castle for how long now ? ....

I prefer my isolated ruin in France.
Didn't you know....... the only immigrants/foreigners are those daring to settle in England. English settling in other countries aren't immigrants or foreigners in those countries. They are merely ex-patsSays the bloke who has lived in his French castle for how long now ? ....
I've had the privilege of living and working in a few foreign countries, I never felt uncomfortable even in West Africa where I made a few good friends among the locals. I certainly felt uncomfortable in my old home area. They say the past "is another country, they do things differently there", and they are not wrong ....
I'm an immigrant in France and unlike many of the immigrants in the UK I have made the effort to integrate.Didn't you know....... the only immigrants/foreigners are those daring to settle in England. A very interesting view , through your proculars. For every immigrant that doesn't integrate there are not only thousands who do, but most likely a story behind it.I'm an immigrant in France and unlike many of the immigrants in the UK I have made the effort to integrate.
Is you still little and a bit cuteWhen we used to go and see my Nana and Ganda, who lived 'over there', we took the Ferry to the North side and then the 101 bus to East Ham Town Hall .... all the world used that bus route, it was great ... being little and a bit cute everyone thought it was super to talk to me ... I still love London ...

Yes and hell no ...
Not been to Birmingham, Bradford, Tower Hamlets etc then? The Muslims communities there live for the most part entirely separate lives even to the extent of having sharia courts.A very interesting view , through your proculars. Sorry Datatek but I cannot stand those who move to another country and then insist on telling those of us living here, how things are.
The 101 ran past the end of my road, occasionally it went to Lambourne End in summer which was a real day out treat for us. No family car in those days. When we used to go and see my Nana and Ganda, who lived 'over there', we took the Ferry to the North side and then the 101 bus to East Ham Town Hall .... all the world used that bus route, it was great ... being little and a bit cute everyone thought it was super to talk to me ... This is the main reason I usually choose not to interact with you or read your posts that are not technical. You are one of the most negative, down on everything, that isn't you or yours , people I have ever come across. There is rarely a post from you that does not knock anything you are not, do not own or do not understand. Not been to Birmingham, Bradford, Tower Hamlets etc then? There is a similar problem in parts of France, however the government take a much stronger line, Muslim religious schools for example are controlled in the same way as other schools unlike the UK and the Burqua is banned.
You must tell me where you get your rose coloured spectacles.
I have family in the UK, so I take an interest and I'm in France because my wife is French and she needs to be here for her handicapped son.
