Defender 110 pickup

Have purchased side step runners for defender pickup which I was unable to fit due to a rock bar. I took the vehicle to local Land Rover specialist who advises that they cannot be fitted due to the rock bar. Would it be possible to fit an ordinary folding down sidestep?

It's an art you will learn over time.
You may be able to fix a step to the rock bar

You could remove the rock sliders, and fit the step runners.

My old mate used to have one for his wife in their RRC, it had a bit of old rope on it and she used to haul it after being seated and away they would go, worked well for them as it folded up and woul fit in the door pocket.
