Something went Pop

Hello all,
I was driving along in my 110 and something popped and I lost the turbo power and I now have a hi preassure blowing sound when I drive. I have a P2263 02/03 engine warning code coming up.
Does anyone know what this is or anyideas on where to look and how to fix?

Yes.

Open the bonnet, look for pipes from the turbo to the intercooler and then to the inlet manifold and replace them all.

Wooshing noise is the pressure from the turbo being vented to atmosphere and not being used as forced induction into the manifold.

Is that a complex job as I am very much a novice.

Let me put it this way, they're all roughly the same age, right?

So logic dictates that if one should pop today the rest will follow in short order.

Jubilee clips, 1/4 drive set and about half an hour with a fag and a brew stop in the middle should do it.

Garage will charge you about £300 for supply and fit.
