I've tried searching on LZ as I thought this would be well covered, but can't find what I'm after. Drive member splines are worn with a fair bit of movement visible. I've ordered some replacements from local LR independent. Question is, will some of that wear be on the CVJ splines? The drive member is obviously worn, just wondering if the CVJ splines wear equally or if drive members are more prone. The CVJ splines look ok to be fair.
 
Heres a pic of old versus new shafts from my 110 - this was at the point of flange failure....

Cheers Phil. Good picture :) What age/mileage/usage had they had?
Mine are better that that I reckon. So I think I'll stick to just changing the drive member so far.
god knows - the drive flanges had been changed by someone at some point...... cars 22 years old!
