Allright, I understand, I will leave the forum.

Thanks for the feedback!

It’s a pity in my opinion.

No one said you had to leave the forum.
But it might be an idea to edit out the parts of your posts related to price, and sales.
If you do that, you can stick around, and get feedback, and offer suggestions to people that want to build their own.
And in that way, you will get some useful publicity as well.

Now that oven is the dogs bollocks

That's amazing, do the rocks come pre assembled?

How many are you hoping to sell? o_O
Beasty that was 1 on the nicest camp kitchens I have ever seen. Matter of fact I have never seen 1 like that before. I imagine there are a few LZ members would like to see that. Those that go on expeditions, it would be very handy.

I agree with Thor. There, I've said it. Now when you pick yourself up off the floor can we see a wee piccy, if we promise not to buy one? :D

I think it looked pretty amazing as well.

What I think makes no difference. Joining specifically to promote a product is spam.

Denying that's what you're doing while doing it, PMing anyone that expresses an interest, posting price is just plain stupid.

You're not actually asking me to moderate to suit my personal tastes are you? That would be a little ironic.

There is some leeway for established members but I'm yet to come across a senior member without the decency to have a private conversation about it first.

That would be of little use on a serious expedition. It might be ok for family days out.

Reason being, on a serious expedition, you have to limit kit to a minimum, so you can get everything that you need to survive for a long period of time in the vehicle.

My friends drove a long trip in the Kalahari. They had a little gas stove, a plate, knife and fork each, used a couple of pans for everything, and were limited to 7 litres of water per person per day. That is for washing, cooking, and drinking.
There would simply have been no surplus space in their Land Cruisers for anything like that big cooker.
