i do plan on doing at some point so i can say I've done it etc ha. i may get bored and change it back but my intensions are to go out and try everything so i will be putting one on. as for the wading kit il have to get reading as i dont know anything at all!
my plan is to get it off road ready and use it like that but over time keep giving it some tic and putting things right then using it for green lanes and doing some decent weekends away. thanks for the reply

Up to you. But it will knacker your axles, and rot yer chassis, unless you take great care. Landrovers aren't waterproof. And to need a snorkel, you will be in so deep the water will be inside the cab unless your door seals are absolutely perfect, which is unlikely on an old vehicle.
I've had a read up and checked and my back axle hasnt even got a pipe on ha, front has. I've just ordered full wading kit with with new nipples etc so will fit sunday, thanks for the help

the ball valve type breather then, is that replaceable with the new nipples or is that something completely different? i think the front axle is original but the back is defo off a disco. looks like it should have a pipe on it
