Poor Starting Co-incidence??

Have just started running my old 90 with 200tdi disco engine with approx 30% cooking oil - has been running fine but came to start her last nite (was freezing just) and she only fired up on 2 or 3 pots with clouds of smoke for a about 30 secs then all ok - veg oil or duff heater plugs?

night before last it was fecking freezin ere, allmost looked like snow on me screen - i've got well over 80% of tesco veg oil in the tank and it started instantly - and i dont have the glow plugs connected yet

check your plugs and filter, if they are fine you may find yer got a bit of an issue on the horizon
