DISCO 2 MUDFLAP BRACKET

My rear mudflap bracket needs replacing. Anybody any ideas on how to get the two screws out that fixes to the outside of the wing? They are both badly corroded. I take it they are screwed into the plastic trim piece?

The screws on mine were badly corroded and on one side the thin metal of the wing had deteriorated.

One screw went through the clip if I remember rightly. I had to rivet bits of steel on to have a fixing point where the hole was.

It all came out alright in the end. I will see if I have any useful Pics.

It looks a bit messy but goes the job.
