Two great conversations this week. On Sunday I took her for her fortnightly valet. Tried a different place this week, the boss came out and spent twenty minutes telling me how lovely my car was and 10 minutes trying to get me to accept 5k for her.
Then I took her for her MOT today, advisories x3 , one my fault (disconnected airflow meter as I'm waiting for replacement) other advisories were bush is showing minor wear and two "very very minor" oil leak on NSR and OSR back plates, not contaminating brakes. The chap behind the counter said that whilst testing it all the mechanics took a look at the car, especially underneath because they were amazed at the condition of the car and he said it's like a new car and he can tell it's had money spent and been very well cared for. He also tried to buy it!
Very proud owner here, shame I am going to take it to a pay and play on Sunday. Lol. Guess I will have to have it properly cleaned underneath and wax oiled afterwards because I intend on covering her in mud
