Looking at that inlet, for a THOR, that's what I have! I always thought mine was the GEMS?

What do I know?

GEMS Has the big rectangular plenum chamber on top of the engine with the size and V8 written on it.

I'm relatively new to Rage Rover, although for work I have driven umpteen Defenders, all diesel of course.

But, my 38 has an inlet that looks like an octopus. Learn something new every day To me, it was simply a V8....

Yep, you're on a thor then. Same block, just different inlet tract and management system. Worth knowing if you're buying sensors etc, yours should be Bosch not Lucas.

Yup, bought brand new O2 sensors and they were Bosch. It's handy to know.
