I can confirm they int never felled off. I has filmed it in the car wash and put the video up as proof.
I am pleased to say that I have completed extensive, far reaching and unbiased research on this very subject.
A google image search for "doorless land rover" exposed pages of images of Defenders, Series and more than a few Discos with doors missing, NO FREELANDERS.
Conducting a google image search for "doorless freelander" uncovers pictures of door mechanisms etc, but not a single Freelander with doors missing.
I rest my case!

That is a refinement of an important off road survival tool from Land Rover. One can survive a week or two with no food, but only a day or two with no water. There is enough capacity in the holding tank for two people for a week.You forgot the famous hippo indoor paddling pool in the boot
This is a refinement of the same system in earlier models - they got the water ingress system right (may even have over done it), but they were never able to stop the holding tank from leaking.
I own the place. I took over in ere 3 years ago. This is the second Freelander section now. I only let the tratterers in ere fer amusement.
