Defender 90 Interior Installation

Hi,

Recently purchased my Defender 90 2.4 TDCI panel van (with installed rear windows). I am wanting to install a new set of front seats and install rear, front facing seats and seatbelts. Would anyone be able to recommend anybody/ any company in the Isle of Man or North West of England who could carry out the work? I am planning to provide the seats myself.

Hi and welcome. No idea about anyone in your area I'm afraid, but I thought it best to mention to check all your insurance before u get this done. When I had my seats installed my insurer refused to continue cover.

agree, when i converted my hippo from a commercial to a 5 x seater i also had to change the v5 and as u say the ins company

had it re motd so i knew then i could provide proof that it was all safe and passed that onto the ins company

there was also something about the back windows, as on the commercial they were all rear metal panels, took them out and fitted windows , ins company was happy about that
