Hi M8
about as bad as mine boot wise sills a bit worse have just ordered YRM Metal Solutions £15 aside + post just need the welder man now good luck buddy

are they just the over sill type? (just weld on top? cause they seem cheap) got the link? there cheaper than what i was getting quoated. was just gonna make my own sills but for that price i might aswell get those.

i didnt think my boot floor was a bad one but fook me red i didint the sill could get any worse then the rear half in my pic lol, started off as a small hole then i hit it and "there she goes"! besides only a few hours work, i cant wait to be driving it again, its costing me a fortune in fuel not having it.
cheers for that link by theway lazy!

Hi couple of pics of the sills & chassis the chassis one was taken just before beem patched. the 2 of the bottom of the sills are a bit crap as taken with a mobile phone and this is before I start prodding and poking. the dark bits are holes.

Thinking of replacing whole sill with a length of 80x40x2mm box section. both sides. As this will allow me to use them as jackable sills as well.

sills look like mine where, but jesus! that chassis lol, what year milage you on? am on a 92 with 187k and my chassis and crossmembers etc are solid as a rock! amd just gonna plate my rear floor though as its still in good nick from those holes you see back towards the cab.

it's a 93 with 197k had 187k when I brought it the drivers sill is like that for the full length except at the mounting points where it's been patched. It was like that when I brought it, and it had a years mot on it. I had to cut most of the rear cross member away and insert a lenght of box section in the full width of car and make up 2 new chassis mounts as there was almost nothing left of the crossmember.

and does you chassis hold alright? you off road it or tow? cause from where on the chassis i can see on the pic it must be under some load there specially when the axles want to articulate some what.

sorry JAC i meant power steering pump, i could do with a nice tight box though id yer have any going spare? lets see how many comments follow that statement haha!
