Weld on sump drain fitting?

Anyone know where I can get one in the UK? I need a low profile like the axle drain/fillers. All the ones on eBay seem to be from the USA with expensive post charges. What really annoys me is that I threw away a rusty diff pan which had a perfectly good one that I could have used...

Scrap yard with a hole saw perhaps, or a bit of plate and the right size tap?

Cut down 3/4" bsp bush and a 3/4"bsp plug. Pneumatic place or engineering supplies.
Black iron not cast.
