Ok thanks, a bit to far

Most of us are doing the laning as an aside to just plain boozin ... er .. meeting other Landyzone members ;) It's a full weekend of meetings, friendships made and broken maybe, and just plain old good fun. It's well worth the trip, especially if you arrive early Friday and leave late Sunday, simple as.

Dunno, won't know really till probably the day before, and even then it'll change!

We were hoping to get a few more local lads coming, but doesn't look like they are.

Hello,

I've just bought a ticket and me and the Mrs will be coming down from Keighley.

New to laning but used to driving off road as I've done a lot of farm work in my youth... Could we get involved?

of course you can, we will arrange nearer the time for a convoy if possible :) will probably start a new thread like last year

Great day out today sorting routes, should all be sorted by next w/end, And we did them in a KIA today with normal road tyres so everybody will be ok doing these lanes. Some fantastic views and places to stop for kids and dogs to play

No lists yet, see who turns up!

There will be a whiteboard/blackboard/someone with some paper, someone else with a pen or pencil and we'll take names on Saturday morning (ish) and team up for 'easy' and 'roughish' routes (technical terms, don't worry) with an experienced leader and tail ender with CB's so we know where we are and who's still with us, or not, on the road ... ;)

The only things you'll 'need' are a full fuel tank and a recovery point front and rear ... we'll check them first (Safety and Security) and help or advise on the morning however we can. Of good advantage is a CB, a spare towrope etc.

Sense of humour a must, though as you drive a Landy that's a given ... ;)

Anyone driving anything but a tratter got spare seats for 2 girls? They are too tall to ride comfortably in the back of my 110sw.
Both 14 year old tom boys .

...

I've only got the stock recovery eyes on my 110, the ones that look a bit like this:

Never got around to uprating them since the tow bar on the back and steering guard on the front are in the way. Will I be alright or is it going to be an expensive week?
