P38A Gearbox Woes, No low range

Good evening to the LZ massive. I need some advise on the next new problem.
I have replaced the complete gearbox/transfer box from my old P38 to the 'new' one as it had a really sharp gear change from 3rd to 4th. Since doing this, I don't have any low range selection. The dash doesn't bleep, no warning message, nothing, zip, nada, it just stays and drives in high range. I have checked the low range micro switch, and even replaced the original gearshift mechanism, still no joy (I do however have a nice smooth gear change back though, 1 torque converter oil seal, both oil cooler pipes and a new oil cooler later)
Does anyone have an idea? Fingers crossed in advanced, Jason

Check the block connector on the high/ low selector motor.

Thanks, I will check that out. Does seem weird that the dash doesn't say anything though.

It'll be alright. They won't touch low range.
