What should the oil pressure be when idling if I stick a testing gauge. on old faithful?

Also does anyone know what size socket will fit on the crankshaft pulley bolt, am away from landy so can't check myself.

How hard is the engine to turn on the pulley bolt?

When I'm turning the engine by hand (for valve clearances etc) I just put it in 4th gear and jack up a front wheel. You can get good leverage on it to turn the engine over, and see what the valves are doing while you're turning it.

From memory 41-42mm will do, or a near imperial equivalent. Its not that critical with nuts that size. Pretty easy to wind it with a ratchet on the nut, access is much easier if you remove the cowl.

Oil pressure will be in manual.

From another forum: Cold idle, 65-70psi, Cold running, 70-75 psi, Hot running, 60-70 psi, Hot idle, 24psi (VERY HOT AFTER LONG RUN)
These are from a newly rebuilt engine.
