Hi all,
Ordered a set of seat covers for our disco 2 from Marc Williams at Turtle Covers Ltd, check it out at eBay UK Shop - Turtle Covers:

I can highly recommend this company fantastic costumer service and a great quality product.

Any idea why Landy seat covers are as least £50 more expensive than all the other vehicles.
Hi redhand,

I suppose it's because the price is for a full set of covers and not just for two single front seats as in most of the other ads, also on the rear seats you get separate covers for the middle headrest and armrest with a cut-out for the rear cup holders and seat release buttons etc. A lot more work goes into these covers.

E Bay Turtle covers maybees?

although I can't give an opinion about the Turtle covers as I havn't bought them I have bought covers from an ebay sellers in the past.

The last drivers seat cover lasted about 10 days and then started to fall apart.

You have to ask yourself how good cheap ebay seat covers are, the sellers ask about 70 - 90 quid for a set and 10 - 20 for a single or pair. Once you take out the ebay fees and paypal fees that knocks a chunk of the value. Then of course the sellers have to make a profit.

So ask yourself what is the bottom line cost of the covers? Are they gonna be much good?

I have now bought proper LR covers, they might be more expensive but I have found the ones for my Freelander to be of a very high quality material, very well fitting and they are still in perfect condition. Not a rip split or anything.

I won't be throwing away me hard earned on cheap covers again.

I'm getting a sense that you may be an employee or even the owner of TurtleCovers

Fecking spam merchants. If ya want to advertise pay like all the others do.
redpussy,

Grow up! If this is the mentality of users like yourself on this forum then you know where you can stick it !
Actually the quality of your English tells me everything I need to know.
Fortunately I have also discovered there are more intelligent contributors to the forum otherwise it would not be worth visiting at all.

I seriously consider why I registered in the first place.

I seriously wonder why you registered in the first place!

If you can't take a bit of stick or banter then all most of the members on here will be able to say to you is BYE.

Another thing, read your opening post, it really does look like it's been written by someone who is after a freebee advert.

Internet advertising is not cheap, I should know as I spend a fortune on it for my business, and I dare say other visitors to this forum do as well. So it isn't to much of a suprise that your getting a bit of flak.

He has not, even had the common decency to introduce himself to the other members of this charming and friendly forum. Might I suggest that one finds the section entitled, "Introduce yourself" where one may post a few details about oneself and of your interests and vehicular tastes.
