P38 gearbox removal

Drive way for me:(
As long as drive is smooth enough then you won't have a problem. Take the t/box off (six bolts) first, the gear box unbolts from the bellhousing so no need to touch the starter motor. Once you have the gearbox out of the way it's simple to get to the bellhousing/starter motor bolts so you can replace the roll pins. My problem was the pins sheared but while I had it stripped down I put a clutch in.:) Think it took me about 5 hours without rushing.
 
@brianp38dse there is a place up the road from me (and you) in Whitton that hires a ramp in a workshop. I've used them a couple of times. It was £50 for the day I think, as much tea and coffee and you can drink, and loads of help from the other staff working there. It's a bit rough and ready, but excellent fun.
