Bucket seats and potential wrapping

Good evening ladies and gents.

I have a defender 90 1991 and am looking to revamp it a bit. I want to wrap to matt black but i am unsure on prices etc. So just wanted to ask for advice on that.

Also I want to put some bucket seats in there. Same thing again with that, as i just want to ask the best place to get them and where from?

bucket seats - if you do a search there has been all sorts fitted, some prefer smart car seats, some rx8 seats, theres the universal ones etc. Its all there

BTW - matt black cars tend to look ####ing ****. A 90 will only look worse. But guess it's for those that just have to be a sheep and follow the other tasteless pricks out there.

I agree. Seen a car yesterday in matt black, they all seem like a black re spray gone bad.

To each his own but for the masses I speak with, they all agree that it looks crappy always.

But yes I see your point. I've done a bit of research and it's a bit out of my price range anyway. So you can you can untwist your knickers.

just paint it with a roller - theres loads of guides on how to do it and the finish is half reasonable if you take your time.

Sportsseats4u have a massive selection of seats, very helpful and excellent service.

I happen to like matt black cars, the majority look good.

Bucket seats are a known safety hazard.

Tests have shown that they make it far harder to exit the vehicle when a wheel falls orf at 50.

Personally I quite like the standard Land Rover seats. Comfortable and make it easier to get in and out. The removable seat base is also invaluable should you need to open either of the seat boxes.

Places like Exmoor Trim sell slightly tarted up and very nice versions of the factory seats. If you want something not 100% standard.

As for bucket seats, well the choice is pretty endless. From one piece comp seats, to something out of a smart or Impreza.
