Our Td5 is displaying some strange behavior, when we first got her (mid Feb this year) we left it parked for a few days and it sank down onto its bumpstops over the course of a few days. Airbags gone porous thought I, must arrange to put new ones on (they are the originals so therefore 12yrs old).
Once started she rises normally (my sister put a new compressor on just before we bought it off her) and everything is fine.
As yet I havn't had the chance to put new Bags on.
Now the strange thing, sometimes she will stay up for 3 or 4 days without use then sometimes she'll sink down overnight!
Any ideas?

I'd say you were right in your first diagnosis; the air bags.
They can leak on and off when they first start playing up, showing the symptoms you are experiencing.
I'd say get some new bags fitted as soon as you can.

Thanks, I thought it would be that but then when it started doing the 3-4day vs 12hour thing it seemed bizarre. I suppose changes in ambient temperature could also affect the suppleness of the rubber bags?

I believe that they can fold slightly differently each time and sometimes this covers up the leak.
