serious question but is there going to be a sort of family area of the camping. As some of us will be bringing young (and easily impressionable) children.

Keen to avoid being surrounded by swearing and boozing.

(I can swear enough when they arent there to make up for it!)

We had a seperate area for the kids cinema last year and they all tended to congregate round there to be honest..not in the main tent with the bar...and although we are arranging it a bit different this year we'll have a similar set up.

Generally the language is a little riper than you'd probably use in front of your mum or the vicar but I found that most people moderated it a bit when the kids were around.

I also agree with the drinking. ..really wasn't anything too excessive at all. ..noise had to be kept down late into the night because of the campsite residents and we got no complaints. Plus to reiterate...it is a huge field and you're able to set up camp a fair distance from the main marquee if you choose to

Mmmmm....

Been looking at Gaydon heritage Motor Centre

Have put the link below - but some edited highlights as follows - the centre is 27 miles away from the LZ11 meet - really easy to get to . The costs are £12 per adult but there are family and children tickets too.

If you wish to book a ride with Landrover Experience where they drive you around their off road course that's an additional £9

That weekend they also play host to a Scalextric Event too

Certainly lots to do there if you dont fancy the laning that we have planned and if a group of you go thenn the prices drop even more

Have you warned your butcher about the do?
Had no burgers in the shop and we ran out too..........not good enough.

Fine balancing act between buying enough and having stuff left over....we need to run out of food actually. ...but only just ...right at the last minute. We're going to buy less but stock up more often by runs out to the butcher to restock is the plan.

Just buy more...................any burgers left I will take home

at cost!

Just out of interest, how many that are planning on coming still need to buy a ticket?

there are still a lot of people saying there coming but have gone very quite on here, think we need to push this big time next week when people get paid,

Can yu buy a ticket when yu turn up - is it would have to be a spur of the minute thing here?

I expect we'll be able to figure something out. You can buy from a phone at the gate it's just a matter of sorting the the printing or reference numbers for the site because we're supposed to display tickets so they know how much we owe them.

We'll sort it one way or another.
