Hello All

Picked up my first 4x4, a Disco 1, last week. Used to be a biker but I have now been told that as i am married with a kid I have responsibilities so four wheels it is!!!!!

Disco needs work to tidy, a bit of tlc to the paintwork and alluminium but it has already been lifted with huge tyres, came with snorkel, roof bar and lights and wheel arches that all need fitting.

Have as much mechanical knowledge as your average rocking horse but am willing to give it a go! Probably be putting loads to questions out here!

Tsk! Did a detachable side car not occur to you Some kids would even fit in a large top box...no? Ohhh ok then As another biker I'd say an old LR 4x4 is the next best fun, after all you can still experience the wind, the rain and the cold when you're driving it. :lol:
