Currently working on my P38 project
dropped the fuel tank the other day to replace the sender unit and discovered that one of the studs holding the front of the cradle of the petrol tank had snapped and by the looks of it a long time ago.



The one on the left of the photo.

It seems to come through the floor under the drivers seat.
Thoughts on replacing it, would rather sort it than having the fuel tank cradle held on with only one nut at the front.

Bolt head will be welded in place may or may not be difficult to get at. Drill and tap it and use a bolt from below. Use Copraslip on threads.
