I bought a '92 defender at the weekend but got home to find the mrs isn't long enough to reach the pedals properly. (Yes, I did push the seat forward)

Is there an adult booster seat on the market or something? Hope someone can help so she can get to the shops.

Cheers.

... tongue was in cheek, she was off-road yesterday. I didn't like sitting next to her without her being able to reach the brake properly.

I know it's a bit of a naff question but I'm going to get a shed load of grief or a crashed truck if I don't sort this quickly.

Thanks in anticipation.

a booster seat will place her further away from the pedals not closer. you can get pedal extensions for short arses and if you tell me what area yer in i might be able to put you intouch with someone that can supply and fit them

Thanks, Slob. Thought because my question wasn't really technical and didn't mention 'oil', I'd be totally ignored by the hardcore.

She's short but makes up for it by being beautiful in a small way. These extensions? What happens when I drive it? They must be permanent so I reckon I'll be knackered ....

I need something to push her forward towards the wheel but doesn't knacker her back. I can't believe everyone who drives defenders is taller than 5'4"?

If I can't pad her out, I think I'll need to extend the runners for the driving seat?

you can get pedals that come off in about 5 mins. or you could try a cushion or even a series seat back behind her. or like you say get the seat runners extended
