I've looked on the Dinitrol website, but the FAQ section does not answer this question. Can you spray Dinitrol straight over etch primer?
This is on the underside of my tub, which has been shot blast then etch primed. Just wondering if I need to put paint over the primer or if the Dinitrol can go straight on.
If anyone has any experience of doing this I'd appreciate your advice.

Can't think why you couldn't put it straight on, although painting first with something like rustoleum would give more protection

I am an avid user of rustoleum. But, it's very shiny. The black gloss stuff I have anyway! I wonder if the Dinitrol would stick to it very well?

Dinitrol is very good at sticking to things, including any paint surface you can think of. As it's mainly an aluminium structure you're talking about it doesn't necessarily matter that much as it's not going to go rusty anyway, but it shouldn't be a problem.
