I got them locally in France, so not much good to you but these latches are pretty common. I started out with those over centre hasps but they were too flimsy and hard to mount on chequer plate and the robust ones are just too big so I went back to basics.

Late response but, we sell somthing simlar in work can chuck some in the post for anyone who wants some. Likewise lots of little clips and fittings.

I put a couple of bits of interior trim through the dishwasher (as you do) and they went a bit grey from the heat. Gave them a nice coat ot gloss black.
