LED bulbs?

Been looking at the possibility of fitting LED headlights at some point in the future, so far ive seen units for sale upwards of £450 .
Whilst searching the net, I found these on ebay: LED H4 Bulb kit for Headlamps Headlights Defender 90/110 Tdi Td5 Tdci 1983-2017 | eBay
and was wondering if anyone had fitted them to their defender and what they were like? are they even legal? my gut tells me I should probably save up the moneys and get some proper units, but at £90 rather than £450, they seem a little tempting and easier on the wallet.

Why not look at HID's?

I will have to look for something like a BMW e34 535i which had ellipsoids and convert those to HID's.

I have converted many BMWs before even mine and they have not failed as yet. Once I find the right diameter lights with ellipsoids I would be happy to use them.

Or just £20 of wire and relays and you don't need LED...... The fixed one is on the left (obviously).

Big difference just by getting a better power supplied directly to the light.
