Started at page one, got to the bottom and saw there were over 2000 bugger that for a read lol.
Hey gents, another local here. Leighton Buzzard.
Got a Disco TD5, my first landy. Done some bits and bobs to it and looking to come out and have some fun, maybe a bit of laning if possible with some experienced hands.
You guys do pub meets still and the likes?
As she sits give or take a few bits added

Welcome Regy53.
We meet in a pub just outside Dunstable called The White Lion. It's in Chalk hills. We meet every first Wednesday evening for a bit of grub and a chat. Keep an eye on hear for laning trips, I don't go on those but plenty do.
Hope to see you down pub.

We must sort out a trip soon. Quite a few of us lot are competing / laying out and or building motors to compete in the nationals this year. End if May so it's mega busy.
Our next trials day I think is 11th may just before the nationals! Which your more than welcome to come and have a watch even take part if you so wish.

Dam Anglian members. Although RTV in a D2 would confuse people. We are Chiltern Vale LRC www.cvlrc.co.uk . A few of us are members for trailing. Easier to explain in the pub I think.

My 90 is off the road atm. good time to do some work on it me thinks. however, today, i picked up a bargain, immaculate LR defender 90 and 110 workshop manual. 5 pounds. Great stuff!

Out of Tax for one and im a bit skint, but also, got a puncture and spare is shagged so i need to get the new tyres fitted. need to get a couple of tubes though. have finally fitted the new passender seat, just need to finish fabricating the bracket for the drivers side and jobs a goodun. need to come collect that hose from you sometime soon too. been crazy busy this week.

I got some 10.50 100 16 so that's
10.50 wide x 100% profile so
10.50 sidewall height x2 top and bottom
21 inch plus 16 inch rim
37 inch tyres but they have TEETH!!

Lee owner to 28/29 inch tyres however too low gearing.
Will sell my almost new g90's set of 6
The tyres I have are a stop gap will keep them a few months.
Could do with some decent sized in between tyres ideally but I'm not going wider than 10.50
Lee I'm about most of the weekend however am shooting out for a bit but back later
