My fan belt squeaks on start up, what to I need to check please?

Even with AC off it still goes.

Very annoying!

And before you ask yes I have!

Probably belt slipping as alternator comes under load to replace starting battery use-new belt or dress existing if not shagged

I've got a floorboard that squeaks. I try to avoid it and that works. . That might help if you've already done what I was going to ask.

Brand new GENUINE ONLY belt should sort it.
