newbie wants some advice please!!

hi all......

I am the owner of an 04 HSE TD4 in epsom green.......and i love it!!

i have owned it for about 18months now, and it is due a service.........but I don't want to pay anymore dough to the main stealers!!

can someone give me a definitive checklist that i need to buy to perform this service?? and if anyone has a helpfull pointer to a site where i could get good directions would be nice too!!

I also have a problem with the sat nav.........it is not recognising the roads and is just showing an arrow

any ideas what to do with this??

Do you know if your satnav has been updated, happened to my Garmin unit because our roads had been altered and the arrow used to follow the old route, got it updated and the problem was solved

I don't think its that mate, because there are a few new roadds near me that it used to do it on, but now it does it on every road............i thought it was a problem with the disc .

although now i'm thinking about it, the 6 disc changer thing started playing up about 2 weeks before the sat nav did..........that seems like too much of a coincidence, i reckon!!!!

i need to find out if it still under warrenty first.........how long is the warrenty on a td4 freelander?? anyone know??

right, ive just phoned em up and although the service department is closed, the warrenty runs out on the 29th of May.........so i'm still in!!!

wahey! ........a ne wsat nav sounds expensive

Yeah, three year warranty. Might be worth having the last service done by the main stealer before the warranty runs out - allows them to charge LR for warranty work if they can find any problems.
