So it will already have galved cassis etc and decent AT tyres.

Decent entertainment system, with roof mounted DVD to keep the kids quiet

Towbar and NAS step
impact protection with recovery points.

This is easy:

1. Sound proofing so you can listen to the wireless or hold a conversation without resorting to sign language

2. A heating system that actually provides heat rather than waft some just-above-freezing air around the place.

A galv chassis counts as an accessory as does decent AT tyres. Base model is a bog standard, as it left the factory 110 hardtop so no decent tyres and definitely no rust proof chassis. Just for further clarity we're talking a 1991 example with a 200tdi fitted. An engine change counts as an 'accessory'

If its needed to move/operate the vehicle in a basic form it must be a modification, ie its an improvement on what was there in the firstplace, ie galve chassis or engine transplant, without these, your going nowhere.

An accessory enhances the experience/performance of the vehicle and could be added/removed without affecting the basic function :laugh::flame:

You've just described my 110 HT ( all 6 items) plus I've got galvanised frame doors and stainless exhaust,
I would sound proofing to the list and for my use a disco transfer box.

The only things I'd like to change on mine are the tyres for some decent all terrains (although I have some road biased Goodyears that have coped really well in the Peak district today) something to stop all the mud and ****e getting sprayed up the side if me tratter (all over the door handles Grrr.) and a bit more power (as mines a 2.5td that struggles on the hills)

Everything else I can and will happily live with, if it's good enough for farmers in the bleakest of terrains then it'll do for me.

I'd rather be some gear and some idea than all the gear and no idea and putting loads of kit on it only makes it more attractive to the light finger brigade....

Based on a standard 200tdi hardtop 110 I'd go for:
1. better A/T tyres,
2. better headlights
3. recovery points,
4. rad haz matting to make it warmer in the winter,
5. comfier seats
