well so far so good with my new freelander, got a few "worries" but il deal with them as and when but il mention them shortly.
1. in the boot there is a light but its not connected, does any body know where the wiring comes from so i can try ad fish it out withought taking interior out, ie does it come from rear pillar or does it run from from.
2. has anybody fitted footwell lights, i find the position of the light abit odd as it doesnt light the front of the car up, iv swapped the buld for an led panel which is a big improvement, but woukld like front lit up aswell, if youv wired it to the interior light how have you done it, so it comes on when doors open or when you turn the light to on.
3. Headlights, there better than my disco but can they be upgraded? or better bulbs?
4. has any body swapped their radio aerial, i think mine will get in the way when i have roof bars on so just wondered what others had used.
5. heated seats....i dont have em, would like em as leatehr is coooold on the ar$e at 5am. what connectors should i be looking for to see if cabling is there, has any body used the DIY kit from ebay?
6..now to my "worries", iv tried and done the rear wheel VCU test, and it took 37 seconds to do the 45degrees with 14Lb of weight (6kg ish). but i still think that it feels as though hand brake is on going in reverse with full lock on, could this be the IRD, is there a way to check this? or could it be something else.
