****ers!
Probably kids. And they'll probably get community service, or a talking to
Will you get compensation from the police?

Dont know about compensation, well see mate.

Local tyre fitters are coming to the house to do the job on Monday so I thought that is good service.

2 x Pirelli Scorpion STR's on the rear for £216 fitted - can't afford all four at the moment, hope I get something back but not building any hopes up.

:mil17::mil82:the B------s make sure they are prosecuted send a latter to the police and the prosecution board also include a copy of the receipt

I'll do what I can teddywood, a neighbours cctv caught them in the act so the police have one already :)

Me and my neighbour have agreed to go to court ;)

Sorry to hear that. Hope the bastids get hammered with a compo order  Unfortunately though, that doesn't help you at the moment. Bad enough having one tyre done, at least you have the spare, but more than one and you are up sh1t creek.

Hope you get sorted and back on the road asap.

Well, whoever it's from, you can get compensation for criminal damage.
I have no idea how far it will go to cover the actual cost though.

I feel for the guy and I hope the scum get the right punishment but you won't get compensation for it.

The only way you can claim is thru your insurance but its not worth it.

The police can't compensate ?

If its like over here, the police don't compensate, but they will put the repair costs to the court so the judge makes the pricks pay the compensation.

In our case we found 2 guys sitting in our car having used a screwdriver to lever out the small back door window and thus damaging the door as well as glass. They scarpered but were sniffed out by a couple of very angry Alsations.

So they were caught and taken to court by the police. The police asked us to get quotes for repairs to put to the judge. Then the first guy they put through before we had the quote, and the 2nd guy they din't even bother putting it to the court. Fecking useless. I'm sure if compensation had been awarded it would have been 50 cents a week or something.

Felt like going round their houses and smashing their 50" flatscreens and XBoxes!

I reckon, and always have, that repeat offenders should "disappear" one night - never to be seen again. If they are repeat offenders then to me that shows they never learn or have no regard for their victims and so are not worthy of a place in our society. Age should be no defence either.
