Just a heads up for all the series lovers out there ...

Next weekend (August bank holiday weekend) is THE date for anyone that loves series motors ...
Held annually at the National coal mining museum near to Wakefield Yorkshire it's a Seriously series only full body immersion in leaf sprung landrovers ...

Entry is free to both the leafer show AND to the coal mining museum for foot visitors and only a small charge to exhibitors (All proceeds go to supporting the sterling work that the NCM does towards the preservation and education of folks regarding the history of coal mining )
There is also a craft fair to enjoy AND a chance to descend deep underground with the kids (You can even bring them back to the surface IF you really want lol)
Come along and enjoy a cracking show of leaf sprung landrovers .

As we're away everything is a 'might be' .. it depends .. ;)

I could throw a stone at you from my house then :D

If you're about pop over, black X reg mondeo with small Musketeer Sprite (I think) caravan .. I'll probably see you first though .. if we're in .. and not drunk!!

:beer2:

Plenty of parking for none leafer vehicles in the museum car park and a short walk to the show field.
Gates open 9 ish in the morning and museum/show closes at 5pm.
Sadly the very limited number of camping spots we are allowed were sold out some time back.... So day passes only if you havnt a camping pitch allocation number.
