Ok guys I am in the middle of putting a new water pump on the P38 and Im going to change the fan belt upon removal of the radiator I noticed I have the fan belt which drives alternator water pump etc and then I have a little belt which is driven off the main pulley my question is what is this belt for please

The extra belt is driving the aircon compressor. I take it your car is a diesel.

Water pump sorted (no Leaks} fan belt and aircon belt fitted thanks for your help wammers
