sunroof blanks , optional extra ?

hiya

picked these up yesterday

never seen these before and was wondering if they are fitted at the factory until the glass is fitted into the sunroof or came an an optional extra please

They came fitted to base models......glass sun roofs were an optional extra, and fitted as standard to other models.

as jc says. most of the commercials had these fitted instead of glass, in fact I have 2 sets of the blanks sitting in my shed if anyone wants a set (can't see why you would want to change from glass to solid though)

easy way to mount a beacon light etc and just drop the blank in, and can then put the glass back when i want and keep it original without messing about with it too much or ruining it

plus got a roof rack for my 3 door hippo but cant get hold of the front rail end caps nor the rubber gaskets that go on the end of the rail that fits above the rear lights,

so if anyone has got any spare please pm me and price please

They are definitely handed. Took my glass out to clean them (properly) and they are different shapes.

Reet, there has been a little bit of interest on these. I am now back from me holidays and in a bit better position to deal with.

The first set has gone to essexpestcontrol as he was first off the mark sending me a pm.

There is one other set left, DuncanS was second to ask, so I shall see if he still wants them, although he will have to arrange delivery or collection as he is a long way away from me.

if not, andys2472 has sent me a pm, and they will go to him, although he is a similarly long way away.

Just to be clear, I do not wish any payment for these, just want to get rid of some accumulated stuff that I will never use.
