Seeing as I have a picture of it, can anyone tell me what that black thing over the door is

There is a hole with a wire going through to it but it doesn't seem to do anything

No its a black thing that goes round the roof and then out through the hole. Never thought of a washer jet, wouldn't that be at the bottom. How would the water get up in the roof, I never put any up there.

Will put my glasses on and check whether its a pipe or wire

I haven't seen another one so I think it must. No idea where you turn it on from though.

Mind you I spent 6 months thinking the interior light didn't have a switch and just worked on opening the doors Was moaning about it to nrgserv, turns out it has a switch on the dash

it might send the water out when you use the front washers,just the rear one might be blocked or not connected??

The switch for turning the rear wiper on and off also operates the washer if you push the knob. The washer is fed from the same reservoir as the windscreen washer and has it's own pump.

Carried on removing dash to change wheel boxes and cable.

What a ****ing ####ing **** bastard design

Have to completely strip it out to get clearance for wheel boxes to come out, hope I never have to do it again.

Now off to bed will continue later before work
