Good videos paul.

Cheers, just added some more .. Didn't take any photo's, but Pete took some of me posing on a rock!!

Quite pleased for a cheap 2" lift, standard shocks on droppers ... +4" brake lines mind, more for the extra braking than to accomodate the lift to be honest.

Fab vids Paul ...blimey some of those twisty bits were flippin' tight..
I hope your good lady enjoyed herself and didn't get affected by the inclines etc ..:)

Thanks. Camera mount shakes a bit, but they're OK.

Juliet was fine actually, thanks, she took her tablets before we set off!

She's bothered now that it's hard to get in 'cos it's slightly higher and the laptop goes where the grab handle was. No pleasing some folk! ;)

Enjoyed those vids, love the bit where your other half says, all calm and matter of fact when trying to pass the fenders "wont they just fall over the edge"

Heh, didn't realise there was so much picked up! The camera is a little Fujitsu compact with virtually everything automatic .. but someone gave it me and it's better than my old webcam .. ;)

Looks as if you all had a good day some nice pics and some very awesome vids wish i had gone with you.
Will have to get my disco out on some lane very soon lol.

Have a look in the green lane section mate, we're doing one round Lincoln way soon ..

that's a corker of a lane paul

It is mate. It's not marked as a Byway, it's unclassified, so off a lot of peoples radar ..

We only found it last year I think, or early this year, when someone (think it was DavidSally but it could have been TopCat) got a hint about it and we decided to 'just see what it's like' .. ;)

On the way home from Bouncing Bakewell, Tim and I did it going up, but just before it some bloke in a tricked-up 90 asked where a particular lane was, but we didn't know. He was supposed to meet another group there but didn't have maps or a sat-nav and we think he didn't even have the correct route name. So we suggested he could tag along with us if he didn't mind scratchy .. He only did two lanes with us, then turned right as we went left!! ;)

cracking vids paul! and all of ME! lol the two dales is a corker of a lane, always end up with some sort of damage tho (usualy the cb mount!) and a few more scuffs/scratches, if it wasn`t so narrow and just a little wider it would be the perfect lane! axle twisters, lean overs both ways, ruts and bumps.........

Heh, I'm gettin' old, me memory's going .. Knew it weren't long ago though. ;)

Whats all this around lincoln paul? You kept that quiet!

It's in Green Lanes section, David's already on it .. ;)

TD5power is sorting most of it, I'll check his route ideas and add a few I know, or can find, then he's my gate bitch for the day!

Not properly looked at it yet, no time, so hopefully not too many want to come 'cos I don't know the area well enough for a proper run like Bakewell where I know my route was complete and worked. Many of the Lincs lanes might be changed from the maps, but I know someone in Lincs rights of way so I'm hoping to get them to have a look at the route too, if my contact is still good!

I did loads some years ago in my old S3 but can't find the routes (paper maps, marked up with Notts landrover Club which I was a member of at the time, way before GPS availability). Remember them as being very green, deeply rutted and mostly through wooded areas! (Like many other green lanes I guess) ...

They are procomp +2 es9000 only bout 9mnths old! E-mithered paddocks about warranty etc as im sure that must be classed as a manufacturing floor? Lets hope so! Only niticed when I got to bottom of our street while goin over the speed humps!! Lol

Procomps warranty ain't worth **** mate! They advertise lifetime but its all bollox:mad:

is the pics taken near calver crossroads??

if your coming from chesterfield, turn left at them then thers a right turn up a rocky drive??

if it is, i went up there saturday night with my disco to "test" it out a bit, been going up there whenever ive had a 4x4 for the best part of 10 years now.

also im guessing its perfectly ok to go up there, i did see lots of tyre tracks up top past the stone troughs.

my disco is more or less stock barring a front diff guard but would love to have a day out with you guys if thats at all possible???

thanks, gaz.
