does anyone know a few places to get just the front wheel bearing for p38 as spoke to a couple they didnt know dimensions of bearing mines inside 45. outside 84, width 53

I did a write up some years ago outlining the procedure and possible problems relating to replacement of P38 wheel bearings, gained from personal experience.
If anyone needs a copy, please send me a PM with your email address. I will mail you a copy (It's a Word document)

tried bearing suppliers they dont do dimensions even timken which is make that come off gave them bearing number also np137905 told me dont do them which is a puzzle

I've just replaced a rear hub on mine. Correct me if I'm wrong but the hubs/bearings were never made to be separated or replaced and so even with a hydraulic press it's no guarantee of a trouble free job. I pressed the old bearing out of the original hub before opting for a replacement hub as after years of maintaining and inspecting aircraft and components my gut feeling was trouble looking at the corrosion present.
Although the bearing is a lot cheaper I just felt that if I paid for a bearing and to get the local machine shop to press it in and the result wasn't perfect I would have been £100 out of pocket before I replaced the hub anyway.
Just my way of thinking but it is Sod's law that if it can go wrong it inevitably will.
