What have you done to your Landie today.

Just got the grinder out and chopped my arches up to fit 33-12.5-15 tyres on!

Photos please sir ;).

Did my valve clearances, replaced the rocker cover gasket, fitted new nuts and bolts to my props, wired my spots in and tidied up the back and fitted a cargo net across the width.

Runs so much better and quieter already and seems to be using far less fuel :D

Took her laneing today with a mate as my map reader. My clutched died, started biting further and further down the pedal travel until I lost it all together. Topped up the fluid and sat in the garage pumping it until and firmed up again. Any ideas as to why I lost it on the first place? Also got a nasty knocking sound just as I got home and turned a corner. Wondering if its my wheel bearing it something.

Other then that, and the fact my hand break is fooled for some reason. Was a good day :)

sounds like you have a leak, u got under it and had a look?

No haven't yet had time. The bit you put the oil in didn't take much to fill it. Though it may have Ben a leak. Guess I will have a look tomz. Any common places they occurs?

Slave cylinder if you can't see a leak on the pipework. Check the hole in the bottom of the flywheel housing for hydraulic oil.

Doesn't take much to fill it as it's a very small reservoir.....was it nearly empty?

drove it to work and nearly died of hypothermia...drove it home and a bellend coach driver (Barnes of swindon) decided not to look or slow down at a roundabout while I was turning right.........the horn on a series really doesn't convey the right amount of anger !

well i think it was empty haha, thats why my foot sunk to the floor and i couldn't get in it in gear. have to have a look tomz, don't really know what i am looking for and its probably all caked in mud atm so that wont help.

Sawed out the front arches, loadsa room now. Fitted new front prop after smashing the UJ dragging a Pa*ero out of the brown stuff. This has stopped her bunny hopping down the road so a bonus all round. Tin worm spotted on inner arch though, bugger.

Had my battery checked after my S&M issue yesterday. It's fine.

Well shoot, that's prob the cheapest option ruled out. Hoping now it was a one-off freak accident kind of thing. Yes, that's it. A one-off......:5bicon_bs:

No thats not all i've done Sir, but thats all the pics i took at the time!
Cut out both corners of rear doors and re-welded back and folded door edge back. Retained the **** rubber still in place to stop the mud filling up the gaps! Attached the Flexi arches, got my new tyres put on my old wheels after blasting them back to bare metal, epoxy primed them and sprayed them in two pack gloss black!
Apart from that i sat on my arse after work this week!IMAG0498.jpg
