help veg oil problem

iv put 4 litres of petrol in still no good so will buy a new lift pump tommorow see what happens.

Something not right somewhere, my 300 will run on pure veg oil (rapeseed oil) straight from the bottle or pure bio.

Had one bad starting day but it was very cold,poured boiling water over the injector pump and over the injectors and she started.

Once running no problem at all so not the fuel that's causing the problem especially as you have petrol mixed with it.

ive changed the lift pump was a little better but still wont keep revs up will tick over fine just cant hold anyrevs any more suggestions.

i dropped all the fuel out and put just diesel in and hay presto it lives again mine obviously doesnt like veg oil.

theres a few lads round this way with 200 and 300 tdi discos and all of them swear by removing / bypassing the sediment filter behind the drivers rear wheel bolted to the chassis rail

not one of them have had any trouble with them even when cold

they do however reccomend at this time of year only running a 50/50 mix of WVO and propper diesel ( not the tescos shyte as its mainly bio diesel anyway )

dont think ive got a sediment filter followed all fuel lines and they come out of tank to fuel pump and other breather pipe i think i had 70 diesel 30 veg and mine still didnt like it.

well spoke to soon i got 5 miles down the road and conked out again same symptoms so im goin to change fuel filter when i can get one hope it sorts it i must still have veg oil in tank.

i had another look at the 90 today and before i changed the filter i had a look at the filter on the new fuel pump and it was covered in **** so cleaned it and it started first time and drove fine ,so i will keep an eye on that as ive obviously had crap at the bottom of the tank when i drained it.

few cases on here of veg oil pulling all the crap out of the tank to block filters and stuff, seems like you might have it sorted though.
