Do you need a rollcage

I've been off roading for a couple of years and realise the more you do the more you try and do. That's got me thinking about getting a roll cage. Have any of you thought about it and if we could get a deal for multiple orders would you be interested.

I bought my Defender 90 with a Saftey Devices Cage -Internal & External down to Chassis so im in damn solid cage

Personally havnt been doing off roading much though what I have done it has come in handy. Simply things though, keeping big ass branches off the windscreen and the roof + the added factor that your surrounded by a steel cage is allways nice.

I love mine, keeps **** out the way, protects my Landy, Protects me

Im in the same boat. I dont 'need' a roll cage, I use mine for laning and some playing around in really, nowt serious but as you say the more I'm doing the more I push for harder stuff, I am now thinking about a cage or at least a roll over hoop until I can afford a decent cage...

if your going to be doing more and more extreme stuff then get one but dont get a cheap one.
someone i know has one on his 90 trayback and uses the roll cage and a merlot tractor to roll his car over for cleaning or maintenance work lol

Why would you try doing that without a cage?
I'd say know your limit's to what you think is safe.

But next on my shopping list is a cage.

Good thing to have, even on a road lr Id have a simple hoop because they have the combination of being heavy, unstable and weak which isnt good

Can't really afford a full cage just yet but would be interested in just getting the "hoop" for now. Anybody know any good suppliers, or even better a company who can supply and fit in the north west? I'd do it myselft but really would prefare something like that to be professionally done.

Im looking at whitbread cages. Im definitely getting one. We all push a little bit harder with more experience. Seen that video before and shows what happens when it goes wrong.

Well I do competition trials so a cage is strongly advised, getting tornado Motorsport to bud mine as will be a little of a custom job. And he's just down the road

I build my cages to exceed regs, and be beaten up every weekend on challenges or go on expeditions with ham fisted drivers
Down side is I only supply and FIT so I know they are not held on with pigeon ****, problem is Im in essex and miles away from anyone so not viable for 99% of people on this forum
