turbo repair/rebuild kits

hi i was wandering if antbody knows of anywhere to get the repair kits for the turbo on the 300tdi as my oil seals have gone many thanks chris

I opted for a replacement core ... TURBO CARTRIDGE/CHRA T250-04 452055-0004 ERR4893 FOR LANDROVER RangeR/Discov 300 | eBay

not fitted yet ,but looks ok . worth a punt tho i thought ,quick delivery about 5 days and no import duty payable :behindsofa: . Have to drill out /retap the 4 bolt holes holding the core on, as they all sheared . oh and buy a big pair of circlip pliers !!

what size socket will i need to get the turbo off the down pipe as i cant seem to get any to fi many thanks

Have you tested it by now? Any good? Mine needs replacing soon and it looks like a good option for the money. Would be greatfull for your opinion cheers!

Nope, still on rebuilding the engine at the mo . will be about a month or so . There is another thread somewhere where someone bought one and is happy with it . (could be in the discovery section) .

I would rather rebuild the old one than fit a Chinese one, but each to their own.

Especially overpriced ones - there's a company in Bournemouth what rebuild turbos for two hundred quids and they're professionalists not do it in the bedroom hobbiesters

Got any for sale at this time? Mine is rattling badly under load at high RPM. I live in Canada. Method of payment? Cost?
